Featuring Lewis Gordon, Laura H. Carnell Professor of Philosophy, Temple University. Dr. Gordon will reflect on the publication, influence, and underlying social issues of Fanon’s world-famous tract on decolonization, "The Wretched of the Earth." This 1961 publication served as a blueprint for national liberation struggles around the world and greatly influenced the Black Power movement.
